Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 6, 2026

Last updated: August 6, 2026

Swipe Home LLC (“Swipe Home,” “we,” “us”) operates the Swipe Home mobile app and the website at swipehome.ai. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to home buyers and to real estate agents who use Swipe Home, and it is scoped to users in the United States.

Information we collect

The table below lists every category of data the Swipe Home app collects. It matches, exactly, the privacy label shown on our App Store listing. “Linked to you” means the data is associated with your identity (for example, your account). None of this data is used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not sell your personal information. We run no advertising of any kind and do not use any third-party advertising or ad-analytics tools.

“App Functionality” means the data is used to operate core features. “Product Personalization” means it is used to tailor recommendations to you. “Analytics” means it is used to understand how the product is used. Crash Data and Performance Data are collected for diagnostics through Sentry; those reports include your account identifier so we can tell which crashes affect which users, but your email address, IP address, and username are stripped before the report is stored.

Your home profile

Two of the categories above — Physical Address and Other Financial Info— refer to your own home, not to listings. If you use the Home Intelligence features, you enter the address of the home you own along with its estimated value and, optionally, your mortgage balance and related figures. We store that home profile against your account and use it only to produce your equity, valuation, and what-if results. Providing a home profile is optional, and the rest of the app works without one.

Product interaction and swipe activity

“Product Interaction” above includes your swipe activity (like, pass, save) and per-photo behavior on listings — which photos you view, how long you spend on each one, and hesitation before you swipe. We use this to rank and personalize the listings we show you. It is not shared with advertisers and is not used to track you outside the app.

Messages

When you message an agent, or an agent messages a buyer, we store that conversation so it can be delivered and so you can access your message history. We do not read your messages for advertising or any purpose other than operating the messaging feature, moderating abuse, and complying with law.

How we use your information

  • Provide and operate the app: accounts, property discovery, saved homes, messaging between buyers and agents, tours, and (for agents) leads and dashboards.
  • Personalize your experience, such as ranking listings based on your swipe and photo-viewing activity and your coarse location.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions. Home Intelligence purchases are billed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account; we receive only your entitlement status from Apple via RevenueCat, never your card number or other payment instrument. Agent plans are billed by Stripe.
  • Verify phone numbers and prevent abuse, fraud, and spam.
  • Send you transactional messages, notifications, and email you have asked for or that are needed to run your account.
  • Diagnose crashes and monitor performance to keep the app reliable.

Location

Location is optional. With your permission, the app reads your device location only while you are using it, and only when you tap the “center on me” control on the map. Your raw coordinates are sent to us so we can show listings near you and improve what we recommend. We never collect your location in the background, and we do not request always-on location. You can turn location access off at any time in your device settings, and the app remains fully functional if you decline.

Listing data

Property listings displayed in Swipe Home are sourced from licensed multiple listing service (MLS) feeds, not created or edited by us. Each listing is displayed together with its listing brokerage. Swipe Home is not the listing broker for any property shown in the app. MLS providers have their own privacy practices; see, for example, mls.com’s privacy policy.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for cross-app advertising or tracking. We share information only with service providers that process data on our behalf under contract, and only as needed to run Swipe Home:

ProviderPurpose
ClerkAuthentication and account management
ConvexApplication backend and database hosting
StripeSubscription payment processing (agents)
Apple (In-App Purchase) / RevenueCatIn-app purchase and subscription entitlements
TwilioSMS delivery for phone verification
FormspreeDelivery of contact-form submissions made on swipehome.ai
SentryCrash and performance diagnostics
AnthropicAI-assisted features (e.g. home Q&A)
Google PlacesAddress autocomplete
RealEstateAPIMLS property listing data

When you message an agent (or, for agents, a buyer), the content and context of that conversation is shared with the other party so they can respond. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and our service.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because we do not track users across third-party sites or apps and run no advertising, there is no cross-site tracking for such a signal to disable, and our website does not respond differently to it.

California privacy rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of that information, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. The categories of personal information we collect are listed in the table above and consist of identifiers (name, email, phone number, user ID), commercial information (purchase and subscription status), internet or network activity (product interaction, search history), geolocation data (precise and coarse location), and other information you voluntarily provide (your home profile, messages). We do not collect government-issued identification numbers, and we do not collect audio or video recordings. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. To exercise a CCPA right, email privacy@swipehome.ai from the email address on your account; we will verify your identity before acting on the request.

Deleting your account and your data

You can permanently delete your account from within the app: Profile → Support → Delete Account. This is a hard delete — it permanently removes your account and its associated data (including saved homes, messages, conversations, swipe history, your preference profile, and billing records) across our systems. It is not a deactivation and it cannot be undone.

Deleting your Swipe Home account does not cancel an active Home Intelligence subscription. Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple, and only Apple can cancel them. To stop billing, cancel separately in your Apple Account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iPhone).

Requesting a copy of your data

To request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct it, email privacy@swipehome.ai from the email address on your account.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our systems, except where we are required to retain limited records (for example, payment records) by law.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to promptly address any issues.

Children and minors

Swipe Home is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with information, email privacy@swipehome.ai and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or by email.
